Campus police arrested 18 -year -old, charged with rape at LSU Dorm – Advocate

An 18-year-old man was arrested by LSU police on Monday for being claimed to have raped a woman in a residence room on a university campus.

Ali Jafar was booked at the parish prison in East Baton Rouge, charged with third -degree rape.

According to the arrest statement, the employees were sent around 3am to the hostel in the northern campus on January 18, where they found the victim and transported it to the Campus police headquarters.

The victim, who knew Jafar from previous meetings at a bar, said he had offered her to ride from Mike’s bar in Tigerland to her hostel, where he was said to have forced himself to her.

Police said they had found blood -colored sheets and other evidence of an attack on the hostel room.

The victim identifies Jafar in the police through his Username on Instagram, before identifying him in photographic staff.
