By james art WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Police converged on Winston-Salem Thursday afternoon to investigate after a body was found outside a parking deck, according to a press release from the Winston-Salem Police Department.
At 4:30 p.m., Winston-Salem officers responded to a call for service at the intersection of 3rd Street and Church Street in reference to a security check.
Arriving officers found a dead man outside the parking lot. The cause of death is currently unknown.
Police do not suspect foul play.
The investigation continues.
