Birmingham, Ala.-Cyriz Hamuda again receives his passport this week, with FC Birmingham Legion defender accepting a call on Monday at United, who said the Youth Team under 17 for the CONCACAF U-17 World Cup qualification in Costa Rica.

From the list of 24 players called by the head coach Gonzalo Segres, the Hamuda is one of only two USL-Championship representatives, along with the Orange County SC ‘Pedro Guimaraes.

USYNT was attracted to Group F and launched its qualifying campaign against the US Virgin Islands on Monday, February 10, faces St. Kits and Nevis on Wednesday, February 12th and ends the Cuba race on Saturday, February 15th. All three US group matches start at 7am CT, with the first two games at Estadio Nacional in San Jose and the third at Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto in Aladzhuela. The team in the group will qualify for the FIFA U-17 World Cup in November 2025 in Qatar.

After performing well in its 45 minutes of action in the pre-season FC opening of Atlanta Unitdd FC on Saturday, the Hamuda heads back to the youth national team created for the first time after receiving a U-16 call last year for a couple from A pair of friendly language in Argentina. The Birmingham defender in total made seven appearances for USNT, dating back when he made his U-15 debut in 2023.

Hamuda is ready to enter his second season in Birmingham after making 16 shows (468 minutes) with the club in 2024.
