Dorothy Bell Kelly, 90 years old, from Virginia Beach – Wydaily

Dorothy Bell Kelly, 90, was born on May 27, 1934. She became an eternal angel on January 26, 2025. At the Hospice House of VA Beach, surrounded by love with her family next to her.

Born and raised in Henderson, North Carolina. Dottie/Dot (as it was gentle known) visits the state school system in Vance County. After graduating from high school, she marries Willie Kelly of Henderson, North Carolina. Together they had a daughter Helen Kelly. Doty, with her mother, sister and husband Willie, moved to Jersey City, New Jersey.

Doty continued to work in the famous Lockheed Martin and Dranetz technologies until her retirement in 1992, after her retirement, Dottie moved to Virginia Beach in 1992. It was in her new beloved hometown that became the founder of the life of Tidewater’s head The National Council of Negro Women (NCNW). She was an active volunteer and activist in her community of Virginia Beach and was especially pleased to work with AARP. She was an active member of several different Union Baptist ministries in her 30 -year membership. It was her church family that she loved and adored so much. Doty has always been known for being a stylish, stylish and organized woman from her young life to her distinguishing life at the age of 90.

Doty was preceded by death by her husband Willie Kelly; Parents, Walter and Mary Alice Davis; sister and son -in -law, Mary Esther and Bill Rogers; great -grandson Willie Edward Barnes.

Doty has survived her daughter Helen Kelly, her two big daughters Crystal and Cisili, three big grandchildren, Aren, Keith and Tyson, and many particularly loved family and friends. She has a new address now. You can call it in the sky.
