A person accused of rape in LSU hostel, the authorities say – WAFB

Baton Rouge, La. (WAFB) – A man has been accused of raping a woman in a LSU campus, according to a report on arrest.

Suspect Ali Jafar, 18, was arrested by LSU police and charged with third-degree rape.

The arrest documents state that the police responded on Saturday, January 18, to investigate the alleged rape.

When police arrived at the hostel, the victim said she had met with suspects at a bar earlier in the evening, arrest documents were stated. The victim told the employees that the suspect was later claimed to have forced him in his hostel and raped her, according to the arrest documents.

Arrest documents say the victim has been able to identify suspects in photographic panel.

Jafar was booked at the parish prison in East Baton Rouge.
