Three Dog Night to be the starting show in the new Virginia Beach Dome – 13newsnow.com Wvec dome

Virginia Beach, Washington-The Newly-Benged Dome concert at the Atlantic Park in Virginia Beach has just announced its opening show.

Three Dog Night, the last group to export in the original dome in 1993, will head the first show in the new dome on May 4, 2025. Tickets will be sold on Friday.

The dome will be a place for indoor music/outdoors with a capacity of 5,000 seats and is part of the city park project in the city.

The original dome was built in the 1950s and was officially called the Virginia Beach Civil Center. After three Three Dog Night performances in June 1993, the building was demolished and left as a free batch for decades, until work on the Atlantic Park project began in 2023.

“The dome will quickly become a destination for music, comedy and special events, all as they pay tribute to the heritage of the original dome, a famous jazz, soul and rock roller home,” Virginia Beach Mayor Bobby Dyer said when the new place It was announced last year.
