The Irvine Retail Park business should be closed only months after moving to city – Irvine Times

Bensons for Beds has confirmed that he will be closed in his store in his branch on Riverway Retail Park later in February.

Of course, the decision was made last week, with employees being informed that they would be cut after the closure took place on February 24th.

This move comes only a few months after the bed and the mattress dealer take over the premises.

Benson confirmed the move to Irvin in early November last year after taking the former Carpetright store.

The department became available after the carpet company entered the bankruptcy and Riverway Retail Park’s premises became one of 200 stores in the United Kingdom in July.

Despite Bensons’ efforts, it has now been confirmed that the premises will remain free again.

The business did not confirm the number of jobs lost and said it would look at the staff relocation when possible.

A spokesman said: “We are sorry to announce that we will close our store at Riverway Retail Park, Ervine on February 24th.

“We know this may be disappointing, but customers will still be able to shop at our Kilmarnock store.

“Every time we close a store, we do our best to take care of our colleagues and look at what other opportunities may be available in the business.”
