Lubbock woman convicted of aggravated robbery
- A Lubbock woman could spend a decade in prison for her role in the 2022 death of a man.
- Maria Rodriguez was sentenced Thursday after pleading guilty to aggravated robbery earlier this week

Testimony continues in the murder trial of Julio Gutierrez
- Gutierrez is accused of shooting and killing Thomas Richardson in 2022
- Prosecutors say the two had been drinking at their home and got into a fight when Thomas spilled his beer, which eventually led to a fight and shooting

Man convicted of setting fire to Lubbock restaurant
- Blair Warner pleaded guilty to arson after destroying Schlotzsky’s near 19th and Memphis in August 2022.
- He then fled to New Mexico and was arrested by Roswell police nearly two weeks later

Two arrested after chasing deputies
- After deputies located a stolen vehicle, the two occupants, Robert Barrientos and Maya Padilla, attempted to flee
- They were caught after a short chase and charged with theft, possession and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle

Possible Source of McDonalds E. Coli Outbreak
- Investigators are focusing on Taylor Farms as the source of the sliced onions in McDonald’s hamburgers
- An FDA spokesperson confirmed that Taylor Farms is part of the investigation and added that it is investigating all possible sources
