Naval maintenance facility Anapolis was locked after reports of a bomb threat and an active striker on Friday. The officials did not confirm details, but the military police and local law enforcement authorities responded quickly to secure the area. Staff and residents were advised to shelter on the spot while the authorities were investigating. No injuries or arrests have been reported. This is the Greenbury Point facility, not the US Naval Academy. USNA, however, closed its gates to part of the river blocking as a precaution.

Dylan Beler is chosen to fill in the free space for the Maryland 30a County District. Anne Arundel Democratic Committee has chosen Behler to replace former delegate Chaneka Hanson, who was elected a state senator. Bechler, a long -time community defender, will now expect official confirmation from Wes Moore Manager. A funny fact: Our two delegates and one senator for the 30-A region have never been initially selected in their positions-they were all elected by the Central Committee.

Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Composition of events for the month of Black History. Activities include historical tours, museum exhibits, panel discussions and live performances in February. On Friday, we met Sebastian, a cool little beagle at Cannes & Crosstreks. If you missed it, listen to it and then contact SPCA and give it a home forever!

On Saturday, in the local business spotlight, we talked to Dr. British Ome from Anne Arundel’s audiology. It’s great if you’re struggling to hear. Give it to listen. And on Friday, we missed a surprise All About The Souperbowl starring GM Chesapeake Baysx Brian Shallcross – it was short and fun to listen to it!

Okay, it’s a wrap. First, thank you, as always, for listening and sharing. And I quickly thank our sponsors for today’s short short News – Annapolis Subaru, Anne Arundel County, Chespeake Hospice and Mac Medics.
