Linda Nolan’s sister says the funeral was very sad but also joyful – Irvine Times

Her family said goodbye to her on Saturday with service at St. Paul’s Church in Blackpool, with fans lining the streets out when the pink sparkling casket of Nolan was brought.

With her sisters Denise, Colin, Bernie, Maureen and Ann, Nolan was part of the Nolans pop group, recording hits like Gotta to get together and I’m in the mood for dancing in the late 70s and early 80s S

Anne told ITV Good Morning that Nolan “would love her funeral” and said that if she could arrange him alone, she would arrange it like that. “

Asked that the memorial is open to anyone who will come, she said, “That’s what Linda wanted. We really did it for her.

“It was really strange, because on the way to the church in the funeral cars, as we arrived, there were loads, hundreds of people outside the church.”

“And my sister Maureen started crying. I want to say that we were all very emotional, but she started crying because of all the people who were there. She said, “I’m so glad because Linda would have been so disappointed if all these people had not appeared.”

Anne also said, “It was very emotional, very sad, but on the other hand it was joyful … She chose her own ark, the pink glittering ark was her idea.”

She added that Nolan also wants them to wear the Spanish mantle veils, but after ordering them, the family thinks he “can laugh there.”

“I don’t really think she wanted to wear mantles, so we didn’t wear them,” she added.

“But that was the kind of humor.”

She also called Nolan “violent” and “a big, big hero in our family and in many people of people.”
