Walker, la. (WAFB) – A teenager was arrested after a deadly shooting on Saturday night, February 1, according to the Livingston parish sheriff’s office.

17-year-old Ray Habisrettinger has been charged with second-degree murder, MPs said. They added that the victim was the stepmother of Habiseriter, Christopher Vot, 27.

According to the LPSO, MPs were called in court Road in Walker around 10:00 pm to investigate the shooting. When they arrived, they found VOTH with multiple firearms.

The deputies said the vote was taken to the hospital and later died of his injuries.

Livingston’s parish sheriff Jason Ard said that through investigation, detectives learned that a vote and habiserter had fallen into a physical battle. The sheriff said that a vote, which was unarmed, was then shot repeatedly.

Habisreiting was booked at the Livingston parish center.
