Gilbert, who is the Carolina Panther offensive line coach NFL, seems to help the team coach back in the victory column. Last week, Carolina suffered a heartbreaking loss of two -time supporting champions of the Super Bowl Kansas City chiefs. Kansas City defeated Carolina in the final seconds of the game 30-27.

This week, the Panthers (3-8) will host the old Gilbert team The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-6) on Sunday from 1pm on FOX. Gilbert won Super Bowl in Tampa Bay as their offensive line coach in 2020 and spent the last five seasons with BUCS before moving to Carolina.

Overall, Gilbert has nearly 40 years of coaching experience in college and professional ranks. He graduated from 1983 at Horseheads High School continued to become the first Almediac College in Hamilton College in Football as an offensive liner before joining a 1987 coach at Suny Albany as an assistant.

Gilbert then trained for several college teams before invading NFL with Indianapolis Colts in 2012. Then they landed with Carolina Panther in April.
