"Rare Jerry Jones W" – Fans are a Cowboys GM country against the backdrop of Mike McCarthy’s release reports – Sportskeeda

The departure of Mike McCarthy of the cowboys in Dallas is processed strangely. The Chicago bears wanted to interview the main coach, but the request was refused because the cowboys still wanted to keep it. Dallas was looking for a new chief coach days later as they had not reached an agreement to extend the contract.

The first impressions of McCarthy’s departure were not positive for the cowboys. Blocking a veteran coach for an interview with a different team would be understandable if they kept it, but it wasn’t.

After all, Jerry Jones may have found a reason for this. A report appeared at Pro Bowl Sunday that there was a break between the number of years offered to McCarthy and what Jones was offering. Based on the NFL fans are on the way with the owner:

“Better than unemployment. I don’t understand the coach here. Unless he just wanted,” a fan said.

“My man was looking for the best job security lol,” said a second fan.

“Translation: Increase your payment as much as possible because he knew he would probably be fired soon,” writes a third fan.

What was Mike McCarthy’s record with the cowboys in Dallas?

For five years, he boasted great results with the franchise, completing his term of 49-35. He also added two NFC East titles, with three straight 12-5 recording seasons.

However, his lack of success in the playoffs is damaging to his mandate, as he did not reach the NFC championship game in any of the five seasons he was there.

Who is the current Cowboy Coach in Dallas?

The new era of Cowboys football will be led by Brian Shottenheimer. This will be his first season as a head coach at NFL. He is the son of the late Marty Skottenheimer, who trains four different teams in the league.

It is curious that Skottenheimer was part of McCarthy’s coaching staff. He has been their offensive coordinator in the last two seasons, leading one of the best crimes of NFL in the 2023 season.

He also has experience in offensive employees with Seattle Seyhox, Jacksonville Jaguars and Indianapolis Colts before training in Dallas.
