This has been loaded in the last two weeks in Aspen. A week after the host of The Winter X Games, the popular Ski-Trip destination hosted professional Freeski and snowboarders for the World Cup at Toyota US.

Unlike the Toyota Us Grand Prix in Copper Mountain Resort last December, Aspen’s event included Freeski and Snowboard Halfpipe races, as well as Slopestyle competitions.

The four -day race starts on Thursday, January 30, and several Summit athletes competed in the Snowboard Men’s Snowboard Race.



After taking the fourth as a whole At X Games last week, Telluride’s product and Summit resident Lucas Foster managed to qualify for their first World Cup final from the 2024-25 season. Foster collected two clean tracks in Heat 2 of the Men’s Snowboard Half Pipypets, winning a top score of 80.50.

Foster claims that the third overall qualified place in the heat, while Haley, Chase Hossi in Idaho finished a place behind him in fourth place (80). The Leadville Chase Blackwell and Jason Wolle also competed in a half -stud for men’s snowboard on Thursday, but failed to get high enough to move to the final of 10 people.



Blackwell placed six in general in Heat 2 (74.75), and Wolle took the ninth in Heat 1 with a score (68.50).

At the finals on Saturday, February 1, Foster collected a solid third and final. The impressive performance was won by the 25-year-old rider at 80.25, which was enough for sixth place.

Japan swept the hirani podium, taking first (93.25), Auum Hirano finished second (89.50) and RUSE Yamada, as third (88.25).

Female snowboard slopestyle

On Friday, January 31, Lily Dhavornve from Frisco sealed a place in the final of her third World Cup this season in the Slopestyle Women’s Snowboard Competition. Fresh from his first medal for X Games, Dhawornvej left a fairly clean first mileage to mark 60.35.

The mileage was enough for Dhawornvej to take seventh place and move to the final of eight women on Sunday, February 2. Caitlin Adams of Silvertorne also competed in qualifiers on Friday afternoon, taking 26th place with the highest score of 27.45.

Dhawornvej eventually put on The sixth overall at the final on Sunday with the highest result of 36.73. Zoi Sadowski Synnott from New Zealand took first place with a score of 87.80, while Truckee, California Hannah Norman finished in Eighth (17).

Men’s snowboard slopestyle

Slopestyle’s qualifiers of the men’s snowboard saw that two riders of Summit County were moving to the final of 16 people on Friday. Jake Canter of Silvertorne (89.75) and Chris Corning (88.25) ranked third in their respective heating to make their second World Cup final for the season.

After winning his gold medal for the second career X Games last week, Silvertorne’s Red Gerrard had to compete in the race, but did not take the qualifying mileage. Caleb Dhawornvej on Frisco took 16th place in heat 1 with a score of 56.25.

Canter took the 10th place as a whole (59.23) in the final on Sunday, while Corning finished 11th (54.85). Canada Francis Juto won the race with a score of 79.30. The Hood River, Sean Fitzsimons in Oregon, was the best American in third place (77.43).

Male and female France Half pip

In the Freeski Half Pipy Competition, Evan Wishmayer Senior Senior High School took 15th place (57) in Heat 1 in Friday’s qualifiers. Alex Ferreira of Aspen headed the first heat with a score of 91, while Nick Gopper heads heat 2 with a score of 92.25.

In Halfpipe Freeski qualifiers, Winter Park’s Svea Irving successfully reached the final of eight women, taking the fifth general with a score of 81.75.

After losing to GOEPER on your home grass on X GamesFerreira restored his place at the top of the awards at the awards. Ferreira fired his last start to achieve the results with a score of 95.75, Goepper took home the silver medal (94) and Rye, New York Matt Labaugh took a third (93).

Bend, Oregon Hes hunter ended in the fourth (92.50), while Birk Erving of Winter Park finished seventh (91). Tristan Feinberg of Aspen rounded the half -time of the men’s semiconductor in 10th place (59.75).

Svea Irving took the fourth overall in the Halfpipe Freeski final in women with a score of 84.50. As China Eileen Uil is still aside with an injury she suffered on X Games, UK Zawkin took first (90), Chinese Fanghui Li took second place (88.50) and Canada Amy Fraser finished third (86.75).
