Seahawks Insider offers the Team Target Future Hall of Famer at Free Agency – Sports Illustrated

Seahawks Insider offers the Team Target Future Hall of Famer at Free Agency – Sports Illustrated

Seattle Seahawks have a problem. They should desperately upgrade one of the oldest offensive lines in the League and do not know how to draw offensive liners. This is a simplification, but in addition to the best 10 best choices for Seattle’s records, they were just as bad as the NFL in the last decade and a half.

Good news: There is a strong group of offensive liners who are about to hit a free agency. If General Manager John Schneider is ready to change MoD and spend on external free agents, he may be able to hit several home tracks and finally repair that unit.

Whether they can find a salary cap to sign them is another question, but there is no shortage of good liners to get on the market. The Fomer Seahawks QB Brock Huard suggests that they look at Dallas Cowboy’s guard Zack Martin for one.

“And there’s a little Baskin Robbins. You want a more adult person, a little beaten? Okay, (there is a future) fame in Zack Martin. You want a younger man with the highest up we have ever seen on Free Agent Market if Trey get there?

Martin (6 feet-4, 315 pounds) certainly has the right type of experience. Ever since he entered the League in the first round of NFL 2014, he was the first All-Pro team seven times and made Pro Bowl nine times. He has started a total of 162 matches in his career, most of them are on the right guard.

Of course, in the reverse, there is the fact that Martin cannot be considered a long -term option, given that he is 34 years old. Then again, Seahawks controversially received the worse results in the right guard than any other team in the league, so that Martin would be a huge upgrade.
