Gilbert man dies after parachute incident at ELO – ktar.com

Phoenix – a man from Gilbert died after an incident with parachutes in Eloi on Saturday, authorities said.

On Saturday, police responded to a parachutist incident in ELO, Pinal County. After arriving, police discovered 46-year-old Sean Bowen dead due to injuries suffered during landing.

After the initial investigation, authorities found that Bowen had jumped at 11:40 in the morning using a wing. During the free fall, his parachute did not unfold, leading to the fatal disaster.
