The BAFTA Cymru winners for 2024 have been announced. Highlights include six nominations for BBC drama Men Up, which stars many well-known Welsh faces including Joanna Page, Yvan Rheon and Stéphane Rhodri, five nominations for BBC sci-fi Doctor Who, which has long was shot in Wales, and five nominations for Michael Sheen’s Steeltown Murders.
The ceremony, which honors the best in film and television, was held at ICCWales in Newport. Many stars were also in attendance at the glamorous event which took place on Sunday, October 20. For the latest news from television and show business, subscribe to our newsletter.
Winners include Welsh comedian Rod Gilbert for his moving, open and honest documentary ‘Rod Gilbert: A Pain in the Neck’ where Rod candidly discusses his journey with cancer and Nkuti Gatua for his role as the latest Doctor Who. Here is the full list of winners:
