Talahassi police arrested two suspects in fatal shooting and car theft – newspaper

Tallahassee, Florida – two suspects have been arrested in connection with fatal shooting and theft of cars that have occurred at Meriadoc Road, according to the Talahasi Police Department. The arrests followed a two -day investigation from the Department of Violent Crime Division.

On January 29, around 7:11, employees respond to the block of 1800 of Meriadok Road, where a deceased individual was found to lie on the road. Detectives have determined that the victim was driving Tylain Williams, 17-year-old, and Deshan Jones, 19, both of the Talahassi, until about 1:14 h there is no obvious dispute or provocation, the department said.

Following the shooting, Williams and Jones seemed to escape from the victim’s vehicle as Jones was driving. At approximately 3:09, an employee of the Florida highway patrol tried to stop traffic on the vehicle near the Leon-Jeffson County line to move a violation. The driver escaped, eventually crashed near the Jefferson County Court. Both suspected fled the scene of the crash.

On January 30, members of the Special Marshal Group of the United States detained Williams and Jones near the 4100 block of Jackson Bluff Road without additional incidents. Both suspects are against accusations of first -degree murder and a major theft of a motor vehicle.
