Today’s travelers want to immerse themselves in the cultures of the destinations they visit, and in Scottsdale we have a unique story to share with our Native American and Western heritage. Throughout the fall attempt, Scottsdale went on the road to share this story with potential visitors on both coasts.

In September, we presented the taste of the Arizona tasting event at a New York World Trade Center to promote the culture and cuisine of the indigenous population in Scotsdale. Our team has partnered with the local culinary experience in Arizona and the home market of the Old Town of Scottsdale to present the talent of the chefs Denela Belin, Gerald Tso and Apollo Lewis.

Nearly 250 Editors, Staff Writers, Social Media Managers, Producers and Videography with Condé Nast Publications Like Bon Appétit, Condé Nast Traveler, The New Yorker and Vogue Sun Rizona, Such as Three Sister Concept, A Navajo Kneel Down Corn bread of pumpkin pumpkin from butter and love of Hopi-Navajo, sweet blue corn tamal with raspberry gel Sumac.

Participants watched performances from Madeline Gishe, Sampson Six -Ciller Sincaua and flutist Cody Biki and make bracelets with a local art market. They received copies of the visitors to Visitors to Scottsdale and took home ceramic products, dreams, coffee and more gifts from craftsmen representing the 22 Indian tribes in Arizona.

Then in October, the award -winning chefs in Arizona and the winemakers joined the experience of Scottsdale for the Del Mar Wine + Food Festival in San Diego. The experience of Skotsdale’s coastal cowboy dinner offered a tasting menu from famous Scottsdale chefs Beau Macmillan and Matt Carter, along with the James Beard Renee Andrand Award, who started his career by working with MacMila and Carter in Scott. Our exclusive dinner demonstrates the unique combination of Western and luxurious offers of Scottsdale, as the attendees enjoyed wine from the vineyards of Los Milliks, the Vine in Arizona with a tasting hall in the old town City of Scotsdale.

Our booth was pleasant to the crowd during the two -day grand tasting of the festival, as we shared information about the destination and awards with Western theme. Our prize wheel turned every 12 seconds of the event, which allows us to contact over 2000 festival visitors. We had no food or wine at our stand, but nevertheless attended an average of 25 minutes in line just a chance to win one of Scottsdale’s experience; Our personalized Scottsdale Teal Cowboy Hat experience from Rancher Hat Bar was one of the most desirable items at the festival.

We strategically selected the two events to reach a key audience-luxury travelers and influential media members-to position the city as a compulsory destination for travelers who are looking for culinary experiences, the heritage of the Indians and the Western culture, all strategies outlined in Scotfs For tourism and events approved by the City Council, a five -year vision for supporting the tourism industry of Scottsdale in the short and long term.

In order to generate additional exposure, the experience of Scottsdale has partnered with Condé Nast Traveler and SAN Diego magazine for more advertising campaigns that invite magazine readers, email subscribers and social media followers to plan the autumn to Scotts and out Museums, attractions and events such as Arizona Red Culinary experience, channel convergence and Dreamy Draw Music Festival.

And as for the culinary activations in New York and California, our goal was to surprise and please those present so that they longed to experience even more than what our destination has to offer.
