Early voting for February 15 begins special primary elections – WAFB

Baton Rouge, La. (WAFB) – Early voting began for Louisiana’s special primary elections on February 15th.

The elections are for a state senator in the 14th and 23rd senatorial regions.

Early voting lasts from Saturday, February 1st, until Saturday, February 8th. During the early vote, the polls will be closed on Sunday, February 2.

On every day of early voting, the polls will be opened from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, you can send you personally by going to the registrar of the election service of your parish or by going to other certain places for early voting. Click here for more information.

Voters must bring a valid identity card with them to the ballot boxes, which can be a driver’s license in Louisiana, a special identity card in Louisiana, a passport or digital license through the La Wallet application.
