President Trump has created an era of uncertainty for organizations serving people who are experiencing homelessness, according to advocory groups for The Unhoused. The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless and National Union for termination of homelessness and both issued statements this week on Trump’s latest actions. “In less than two weeks, the new federal administration has launched dozens of executives influencing the policies, organizations and programs that have been serving our communities for decades,” according to an email from the coalition. “As the largest supplier of people who are experiencing homelessness in the state, the Colorado coalition for homeless and the people we serve are and will continue to be directly affected by these distant and drastic measures.”
