Autological archeology

A garbage in Wisconsin was hiding this Dodge Charger Daytona from 1975, which is so rare that “most people do not know it exists.”

Ryan Brutus, from Autological archeology YouTube Channel came out to Junkyard, which contains more than 1,500 classic vehicles.

The vintage charger was parked in a horde of other cars, some dating from the 1920s.

Unfortunately, the vehicle was not in a great condition – but it turned out to be an incredibly rare find.

Dodge Charger Daytona from 1975 was a rare example

Brutus is well acquainted when it comes to revealing old vehicles, having previously checked this incredible warehouse full of muscle cars, and finds this long -lost AMC AMITRON EV Concept Car of 1967.

In a recent video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Brutus headed to Elmer’s car cemetery at Fountain City Wisconsin, where he found a bunch of old mopars, including Dodge Charger Daytona, which was a surprisingly rare find.

The first generation of Dodge Charger Daytona was released in 1969 and gently called the “winged warrior”.

But when the Dayton’s name returned to the charger in 1975, the car was actually reigned on Chrysler Cordoba, sold under the Dodge Charger Dayton sign.

The car was made in a very limited number, with only 238 manufactured in 1975 – which means that stumbling at one in garbage is a pretty great surprise.

“Most people do not know that they exist”

The limited production of the 1975 Dodge Charger Daytona, which comes with a two-tone package for the appearance of stripes and decades, means that it is far less known than the original.

“Most people do not know that they exist,” Brutus said in the video when he approaches the vehicle.

“But I think they are cool.”

Brutus did not carefully look at the vehicle to get a good idea of what condition it was, but even a quick look revealed the poor old Dodge Charger from 1975. DODGER DAYTONA had seen better days.

The bodywork was darkened with irregularities, scratches and indentations, while the hood was missing completely and it seemed that the plants were growing through its engine.

Quite a sad end to Super-Rare Classic.
