Two men have been imprisoned for more than 10 years after the officers were threatened with a gun when they approached a car in Marston Green.

Andrew Beckett and Anthony Bridge were inside the vehicle, which was parked in the middle of Radley’s road, without lights.

There was a disorder nearby than half an hour earlier and it is believed that a vehicle corresponding to the description – is connected.

Initially, a BRISS came out of Mercedes when the officers approached the car in the early hours of February 19 last year.

Beckett then pulled out a gun and threatened the cops, which reasoned with the risk of safety and the couple withdrew.

Shortly thereafter, the vehicle was found abandoned about a mile and a half. After a search of the area, police found a gun and ammunition in a bush.

Inquiries were created by Beckett and British as the Mercedes couple and the two were arrested within days.

Beckett, 37 years old from Radley, Smith Wood, pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm with the intention of provoking fear of violence and possessing ammunition without a certificate.

While BRISS, 37, by the Road Road, Birmingham, was convicted of possessing a forbidden weapon and possession of ammunition without a test certificate.

Beckett has been closed for five years and seven months until Bridge has been imprisoned for five years in the Birmingham Crown Court on Monday (January 27).
