A critical man with two rifles to the abdomen after an incident with a fury on Friday evening in Wuvil.

Around 8:15 pm, MPs from Leon County Sheriff respond at the intersection of Old Pine Acres Trail and Bright Star Circle in connection with firing.

“After their arrival, the MPs found an elderly man suffering from two firearms on the abdomen,” LCSO wrote in a news message on Saturday night. “He was transported to a local hospital, where he remains in a critical but stable condition.”

The shooting is believed to have been the result of an incident with a fierce rage between a motorcyclist and a pickup driver, a spokesman for LCSO said. A witness told MPs that the two vehicles were involved in some types of traffic clash and dispute before the motorcycle player fired the two shots.

Both the driver of the pickup truck and the motorcyclist had weapons, according to LCSO.

The motorcyclist, who suffered minor injuries but was not shot, has also been hospitalized for the treatment of back pain and has since been released.

There are no arrests and crimes with violence against LCSO have confirmed that there is no threat to the public. The investigation is ongoing.

The incident was at least the third serious shooting in the first month of 2025. The TPD recorded two murders and both caused by firing.
