Stephen Alexander Lancaster passed quietly from this life on January 22, 2025, he was born on April 4, 1948 in San Bernardino, California of Stephen Alexander Lancaster and Claidite B. George. He was preceded by death by his parents and a brother Thomas Riley. He leaves behind his wife, Janet Lancaster and his children Jennifer Clemens of Roger, Ark. And Aaron Lancaster of Sacramento, California, Christie (Jason) Beyer by Gentry Ar and Emily Bowlein of Faetheville, his grandchildren Daniel (Emily)) Alendal of Enterprise Fla., Nathan Alendal of Gillet, Wis. , California, Tonya (Mark) Rose from Sacramento California, Luha-Jack Merrit of Rogers, Arc. And Molly Merrit of Rogers Ark., Christopher Smith, Olivia Smith and Sawyer Smith all of Gentry, Ark. Four great -grandchildren. He won a bachelor’s degree in history at the California State University in Sacramento. He also visits Hillcrest JR, High and Fayetteville High School. He was an avid reader, seeking knowledge and a policy student. He was considered a libertarian. He enjoyed driving with vacations and an annual trip to Ouklane for rebel Day. He was a big fan of the great secretariat. He was a storyteller of high talk and bad jokes, holding the record for many times when he watched the Lion in the winter. Travel always included listening to opera and Tennessee Ernie Ford. Due to a few close calls, he was forbidden to make home repairs. He liked cooking and was an experimental cook. He significantly admires General Robert E. Lee and General Stoneul Jackson. He is a proud descendant of a Confederation soldier. He spent some time researching his family history. He was a member of the Southern Memorial Association of Washington County and always attended the Fieteville Confederation Cemetery Day. At one point, he owned a bookstore that sells romantic novels, but mostly worked in the food services industry and elderly dining programs. He was retired by Chartwells at the University of Arkansas.
