WSU Cougars falls in 75-51 route against San Francisco – Seattle Sport

San Francisco (AP) -17 points of Marcus Williams helped San Francisco beat WSU Cougars 75-51 on Saturday night.

Williams had six rebounds, seven assists and three thefts for DONS (18-6, 8-3 conference on the west coast). Juni Wang scored 16 points and added five rebounds. Ryan Beizley had 14 points and fired 4 for 9 (2 for 4 of a 3-point range) and 4 of 4 of the free throws line.

The cougars (15-9, 5-6) were led by a scoring by Dane Ericstrup and Eton Price, which ended with 12 points in number. Lejuan Watts also had nine points, six rebounds and three thefts.

San Francisco took the lead by 4:18, left in the first half and never looked back. The result was 38-26 at the half, with Wang gaining 13 points. San Francisco extended its lead to 58-35 in the second half, fed by 14-2 points. Jason Rivera-Toros scored nine points in the second half when their team closed the victory.

Both teams next game on Thursday. San Francisco hosts St. Mary and Washington State on the road to play Oregon.
