Basketball for Boys from High School: SouthView survive Fremont Ross – Newsbreak

The SouthView Boys Basketball wasted the lead, but recovered in the fourth quarter to the edge of Fremont Ross 41-40 on Saturday at the Cardinal Division League League match.

Cugars (14-4, 8-0) remained perfect in the divisional game, dropping the small giants to 10-7 (5-3).

Southview led 26-18 at halftime, but the advantage of the 14-5 Fremont Ross over the third quarter turned the tables. The cougars dug a one point victory in the fourth.

Toby Smith scored 11 points for Soutvu, and Dalon Selmont added 10. Michael Stover scored a match 13 for Fremont Ross.

Delta’s Tyson Bauer had an excellent individual performance, scoring 34 points at 73-64 victory over Eastwood. The Panthers beat the eagles 36-19 in the second and third quarter to take control.

Cam Schumaker led Eastwood with 17 points.

CJ Fidler and Wesley Hartsock scored 26 and 25 respectively to send Montpelier to a 76-45 victory over Antwerp. Kenneth Smelzer was also in double digits with 11 points in direct victory.
