Details:

1. The roads in the Big Big Bear neighborhood are buried under about a 2 -inch leaf of pure ice.
2. We call this “sheet of ice”
3. There are vehicles throughout the neighborhood that rotate and crash.
4. Residents can be seen to help some of the crashed cars and their drivers.
5. The light snow waves continued to fall during our time above.
6. Earlier this morning, he reported that a bus with children on board was involved in an ice pile in Dawn RD and a highway 18.
7. However, the incident was resolved by the time we arrived, CHP announced that the children were transported from the scene by alternative transport and all are safe, that there are no injuries.
8. The main highways of the San Bernardino Mountains, such as the Highway 18 and the 330 highway, are cleared from all the ice and snow all the way to the Big Bear Dam.
9. So far, a check of the Snow Valley Chain has been set up.
10. In Lake Arrowhead, near the Highway 189 and Daly Canyon, the truck, lost control of the ice and flew out of the road, and nearly 200 feet rising through the intersection, through the snow parking and up the hill in the cedar tree.
11. The occupants seem to have been unharmed but CHP investigates the incident
