Las Vegas Ays Ace Wilson is in South Carolina to get a great honor from her Alma Mater. Seven years after his last game with Gamecocks, Wilson is back on campus to retire on his T -shirt on Sunday.

The days leading so far were special for the WNBA MVP 2024, but that helped reporters know more about her future plans and expectations. Talking to reporters, Wilson was asked if he wanted to see a professional team in South Carolina.

“I would love to see a professional team. Will I participate? .. I would like to see a professional team here, but at the same time I love only the culture we have here. I want to take a professional team and take it away so I want to I say this is the best of both worlds, “Wilson said.

A’Ja Wilson shares a special relationship with South Carolina after helping them win the National Championship in 2017. Now she is playing at a different level, but she’s not forgetting her old team and coach.

In 138 games it is an average of 17.3 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists per match, firing 55% of the pitch and 37.5% beyond the 3 -point line. She set several records, including the most career points (2389), blocked shots (363), made free throws (597) and attempts at free throw (835).

A’Ja Wilson will be surrounded by special people on Sunday, including her father Rosco. As a proud dad, he was not ashamed when it came to his daughter’s praise. Talking to Sean Hurd before that special moment, Wilson explained what it feels like to see his daughter be immortalized by her Alma Mater.

“I can’t even expose words, see my daughter and see the things she has achieved. Look at her here. This is my girl,” Wilson said.

A’Ja Wilson is now a professional player who has already won the WNBA Championships and has become the second unanimous MVP in League history. After painful elimination in WNBA 2024 playoffs, she is ready to try to take Las Vegas’s ace again at the top of the league.
