Glendale YMCA receives new leaders of the board of directors for 2025-2026 – Associations – Asian Journal News

Glendale – for a great start! Congratulations to Elizabeth Manasryer, Chairman; Edith Fuentes, Vice -President; And the new YMCA Directors team.

At his first board meeting in 2025, held at the Oakmont Country Club, the board passed and examined the mission of YMCA. Chairman Manasherian has reviewed the roles and responsibilities of the board, the relations between the board/Executive Director, the by -laws, the operations and the answers for the assessment of the board and the Executive Director.

Committees, membership and work plans were also included. The financial report and the budget of 2025 were reported by Mary Joy Garcia, chairman of the Committee on Finance and Facilities together with Ben Henry, an accountant. The budget was received and approved.

The chairman of the Committee on Resources and Community Development, Nora Yakubian, talks about some plans and proposed projects. Fuentes announced the upcoming festival of the youth 2025 “Free and open for the whole event in the Community, which will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025. From 15:00 to 7:00 pm on the Glendale YMCA, located on 140 No. Louise St., Glendale 91206. Futenses co-chairs this event with George Saikali, President/CEO of YMCA, for the 3rd consecutive year. She is also co -chair of the YMCA Annual Gala event held in November.
