The 18-year-old has found shot close to a residence in Birmingham-WRBC

Birmingham, Ala. (WBRC) – Birmingham police are investigating a murder that happened early on Saturday morning, Less than an hour after the 22-year-old man in enliS

Northern region employees responded to 600 blocks on the 8th terrace west around 12:20 after they received a SPOTTER shot.

Employees arrived in the area and found a vehicle destroyed near the front yard of the residence. A man lay on the ground near a vehicle suffering from a firearm.

The Fire and Rescue Services in Birmingham arrived and declared him dead.

The victim was identified as 18-year-old Ronald Bennett Jr. from Birmingham. Police believe that Bennett Jr. is a student at Huffman High School.

Police also say that this may have been a deliberate shooting.

There is no person in custody.
