The building will turn 100 this year (built in 1925).

According to the Cinema Treasures website, it opened in 1935 as the Trent theater.

In 1953 he became Odeon when he was acquired from the chain.

He then became the center theater in 1962.

The property was originally indicated for just under $ 600,000 (2023), but the price was reduced to $ 550,000 in the last fall.

We contacted Cooke Properties owner Matthew Cook, who was the building broker.

He says there were several offers on the site, but the accepted offer will end the first week of March.

Quinte News source shows that the new owners are outside the Quinte area.

There is currently no indication of what will be done with the property, but a source says that no residential will be made.

Cook says he could not confirm the intentions of the new owners at the time.
