More than a year later, Seminol sheriff arrested 13 people on Friday in connection with a driving shooting, with a Talahassi woman killed.

The 31 -year -old Princess Toliver was killed and five more women were injured on January 16, 2023, following a Jackpo rape concert in the barn in Sanford, SCSO sheriff Dennis Lemama said during a press conference on Monday. The victims left the concert at the Sprinter van and drove on County Road 46A when a six -cars caravan shot at them.

But none of the women was the goal.

“D -Ja Tolver was in our area and was in our area for the weekend. She was just out tonight, enjoying time with her friends, enjoying a concert,” Lema said. “Her murder is the result of a criminal, complete disregard for human life.”

SCSO detectives believe that “probable motive for the incident” is a feud between Jackpol and Kodak Black, said another famous rapper, Lema said. Sagittarius believed that Jackboy was a passenger in the van.

Currently, Black is not faced with charges in Seminole County, Lemo said, and law enforcement authorities have no evidence that he is directly related to the crime.

“I want to express my deepest condolences to the victims, and in particular Princess Toliver’s family as they continue to grieve for her loss,” he said. “Until these arrests return your daughter, I hope you are able to find some comfort, knowing that the suspects are now in the hands of the justice system.”

Toliver attends high school in Leon and most recently worked at Florida State University. She was hired in November 2019 as a part-time security aid, FSU spokesman Amy Farnum-Patrone told Democrat Talahassi in a previous article. Three years later, she started working as an employee of parking visitors at university.

Her grandmother Barbara Flynn-Tolver told Wesh 2, a television station shortly after the princess’s death, that “she was a very outgoing young lady. Very sweet person. A loved one. “

“She would do anything to help her other sisters. She had three other sisters. They were very, very close,” Flynn-Talver told The Outlet. “I never dreamed that anything like this would happen to one of my grandchildren.”

Her death is not the first time the Talahassi community has suffered violence related to Kodak Black. In February 2022, two men were injured in firing after Black introduced himself at a nightclub in the area. A year earlier, in April 2021, Black’s guard was shot dead and seriously wounded in front of McDonald’s on Dewey Street, where the rapper and his crew receive food.
