The Nevada State Police Parole and Probation Department needs your help finding a man they believe is a wanted fugitive in Reno.
Officers say they attempted to make domestic contact at a residence near Claremont Street and Kirman Avenue in Reno on Cameron Forbes, a non-compliant offender who had cut his ankle monitoring bracelet.
Forbes was on probation for carrying a concealed explosive, air pistol, firearm or dangerous weapon, a felony, and on a misdemeanor DUI, third offense.
Officers say while they were trying to make contact, a person ran from Forbes’ home.
As a precautionary measure, Veterans Memorial Elementary School was placed on a secure lockdown while officers from the Nevada State Police Parole and Probation Division, Nevada State Highway Patrol, Washoe County School Police and the Reno Police Department attempted to find the face.
Reno Veterans Elementary School was temporarily on a secure campus due to police activity nearby.
Officers say the subject was not located nearby and the school has been lifted on lockdown.

Cameron Forbes is considered a fugitive and is wanted by the Nevada Department of Parole and Probation for a probation violation. While Forbes is not believed to be armed at this time, the public is advised not to approach him if he is encountered.
