Baton Rouge, La. (First Louisiana) – The Baton Rouge Police Department arrested a man associated with a deadly shooting that happened in 2022.
Police identified 31-year-old Joseph Jacobs as a suspect after 21-year-old Frederick Harris was shot dead in the 1800 block of Brach Street on March 28, 2022. He was declared dead at the scene.
BRPD said it was developed as a suspect during the investigation. Officers with the US Marshal Operational Group have arrested and booked Jacobs on a second -degree murder charge. This is a continuing investigation.
