Bowling Heads to Baton Rouge for the Southern Queens – Tulane University Athletics tournament

BATON ROUGE – Tulane Bowling is ready for its second competition of the fall season, the Southern Queens Tournament hosted by Southen University in Baton Rouge at All Star Lanes. They enter the weekend following their season opener at Destination Orlando, where they played Oct. 17-20.

Tulane will compete in a more local tournament this weekend and face nine other teams. Southern Queens will begin on Friday, October 25 at 9:55 a.m. with five baking matches. Tulane’s first game will be against Morgan State University, followed by Southern University, University of Alabama Birmingham and Florida A&M University. They will finish the day against Sam Houston State.

On Saturday, Tulane will kick off at 9:30 a.m. and play traditional games against Texas Southern, Alabama State, Grambling State and Jackson State.

On Sunday, October 27, the Green Wave will conclude the tournament with three 4-of-7 baker games beginning at 8:20 a.m. The awards ceremony will follow the conclusion of the competition at approximately 1:30 p.m.
