On Friday, several perspectives were in the city to overshadow current players to see what it is like to be a player in a college in Florida.

The Defense Room Henderson (6-4, 225, Pensacola, Florida Catholic) was one of those boys on the campus, and he was hanging around the current freshman who just signed up in Florida.

“I overshadowed Jalen Wiggins,” Henderson said. “He was overshadowed, he is a great role model, I learned a lot from him. The focus was only for him to tell me how he was going to college and just seeing that he was more than football. “

Henderson is one of the best players in the country and he says he is beginning to feel how important he is for Florida late.

“They make a big move for me,” he told Florida. “Indeed, Florida always made me feel like one of their best boys, but now I’m really starting to feel it.”

External linear player coach Mike Peterson explained to Henderson where she would play B, but Friday was more about seeing everything Florida could offer.

“Coach Mike P, he just showed me that they were seeing me playing as their Jack -Lineak,” Henderson said, where Florida likes him. “He just got to know everyone and saw the facilities.”

One thing that stood out on Henderson was the message that an early play was available in Gainsville.

“It caused me a lot,” he told Florida, telling him he could play early. “I like it because you can’t get better without playing in any way, not better than just jumping into the fire and going.”

Now that Florida has shown Henderson what it is like to be a Gainesville student, he plans to return to the city many times over.

“I’ll be back in the spring and for an official visit,” Henderson said. “There is still no date.”

Several other SEC teams are in the Henderson mixture as he begins to think about who can attend official visits.

“I’ll take as much as possible in the summer, and then maybe some in the fall,” he said on official visits. “Texas, Obun, probably Bama and Georgia.”

After the visit, Henderson had a high praise for Gators and he says they are now a top team in recruiting.

“Florida is one of the best contenders,” Henderson said where he stands for him and what he wanted from school. “I’m looking for a coaching headquarters that I feel can develop me and make me a better player both on and outside the field.”
