New provisions probably after a deadly plane in Washington, a helicopter crash in – khou.com

The flight instructor we talked to on Friday said that this tragedy would lead to more stringent restrictions.

Hawston – the local flight instructor says the Washington tragedy is obliged to write more regulations for air traffic controllers, pilots and maybe even the military.

Students and instructors in the flight school in the spring and instructors follow the developments. They tell me that some of the pilots with less flights are slightly on the edge, but in their bigger part they understand the magnitude of the tragedy. They hope that people can find some comfort in the thousands of flights that take the safety to the sky daily.

The tragedy shook the country to its foundation, contrary to what some call one of the most secure ways to travel.

“We will probably see more regulations about the air controller, the responsibility of the pilot, but also how traffic situations are performed,” says Cooper Weigel, a certified instructor at The Flight School in the spring. “And quite likely regulations on military practices.”

It is not related to the investigation of DC aircraft and helicopter, but has experience in air traffic control and is a pilot. He also says you have a lot to consider in the air.

“You take everything they say and try to make a visual card from it,” he said.

He says that, depending on the typical airport operation, helicopter landing is actually quite common. And he says that unlike planes, helicopters are not tied to the track, but can land on any surface. And while the authorities work to gather how this happened, every aviation tragedy leads to more lessons learned.

“The regulations are written with blood,” Weigel said. “Here’s how they were improved, really what they were written. This tragedy will come from a further provisions.”

He adds that we cannot lose sight of times like these, but we have to keep faith in an industry that transports millions.

“A bad flight. It’s terrible that it happened, but think about all the other flights that are in the air,” he said. “There are thousands of flights that go and arrive every day without an incident.”

Weigel says the lights of the airport at night can also affect the visibility of the pilot, but of course, we will have to wait to see if the investigation gives us any idea if the lights play a role.
