During the second quarter of the game on Thursday between Atlanta Hawks and Cleveland Cavaliers, Hawks Tras’s security was protected by Kavs Darius Garland’s guard in the corner of the 3-point arc.
Young, in an obvious attempt to attract a foul, suddenly waves his body. The result was Garland, who caught a shot of the face, but the contact was still considered a Fowl of Cleveland, which means that Young had fulfilled his likely mission.
CAVS owner Dan Gilbert didn’t seem a huge call fan, so he went to X during the game and offered some fun tips to Cleveland’s head coach Kenny Atkinson.
Hey, Coach Kenny A: There is a new strategy that you may want to think … the defender’s elbow in the face and watch the defender call for a foul.

You like it or not, the fake lure is not exactly a rare view in today’s NBA, although the league has tried to soften it. Players like Young have been successful to reach the free throw, using unpleasant tactics, and they are likely to continue to do so as long as it continues to work.
Young, who is a strong shooter with free throws, has an average of 7.6 attempts to play from the charity strip during his career at the NBA. In seven seasons of the NBA, it is an average of 25.2 points per game as a whole, with 6.6 of these points coming on average from the line.
But on Thursday, Cavs got the last laughter, passing with a comfortable victory over Hawks as Cleveland continues to return on the road. The victory gave CAVS its third in a row, a strip that helped to wash away the taste of a loser slider of three matches, which took place last week.
By its standards, Young did not have a very good performance as a whole on Thursday. He registered a double-spirit with 15 points and 10 assists, but shoots only 5 for 16 of the pitch, 2 for 8 from deep and 3-for-4 of the line.
Meanwhile, Garland led CAVS in scoring 26 effective points, adding seven assists, two fights and two thefts. Cleveland won with 22.
The Hawks are fighting this season, but they currently have a place to play in the Eastern Conference. They are 22-26 and have lost seven straight games.
Cavs, on the other hand, are still a top team in the Eastern Conference of 39-9 and recently restored their place as team # 1 throughout the NBA.
