Bristol, Washington (WCYB) – The Bristol Reversing and Housing Authority in Bristol and Bristol Virginia are working together to bring potentially new vitality to the area, which is the historic district of Virginia Hills.
In September, BRHA was one of 13 organizations that received a gratuitous aid to plan a neighborhood of choice, which they have two and a half years to use.

BRHA chose to focus its planning efforts on the historic Virginia Hills neighborhood to hope to reset the homes and turn them into something like that.

Two city leaders involved in the planning process told me that they were expecting what was next for Bristol, Virginia.

Lisa Porter said after the planning process, they hope to apply for a $ 50 million grant, which will help to help reconstruction efforts in this area.
