Transit agencies in San Bernardino will celebrate the day of transit capital in honor of the black seamstress Rosa Parks, whose position against the segregation in 1955 changed American history.
According to the transit body of San Bernardino County, Victor Valley’s Hasper transit is one of several transport agencies to celebrate the special day on Tuesday, February 4.
A day of equity means that passengers are driving public buses, trains free of charge on Tuesday, January 4, 2025, in San Bernardino County, including Victor Valley.
Transit capital is intended to promote affordable, affordable and sustainable transit options for all, the agency said.

The transit body of Victor Valley serves the transit center in San Bernardino, connecting passengers from the Victor and Barrestou Valley to the greater net.
“Transit plays a critical role in the lives of our passengers, connecting them to jobs, education, medical services and everything our region has to offer,” said Victor Valley Nancie Goff CEO. “This is a chance to show all the benefits of the benefits of VVTA and public transport. “
The free rides and the event are sponsored by the transit body of San Bernardino County, President Ray Marquez said.

Nearly 70 years ago, Parks refused to give up his bus seat to a white passenger in Montgomery, Alabama.
The United States Congress honors her as “the first lady of civil rights” and “the mother of the freedom movement”.
Transit capital is celebrated worldwide on February 4th to celebrate Parks’s birthday, which would be 112 this year.
