South Carolina safety was included inside the top 25 in the list of Daniel Jeremiah’s NFL 50 Perspectives.

While the greater part of the attention around South Carolina was focused around the crime and what Lanorris Sellers did with a defender, the defense was also a large part. Gamecocks had playmakers at all three levels of defense, and one of the best was the safety Nick Emanveri. He is now headed for NFL and, based on the latest perspective charts, he may be the day’s day.

NFL project analyst Daniel Jeremiah has released his list of the best 50 perspectives for NFL for the class, and Emanweri was inside the top 25. In fact, Jeremiah was listed former Gamecock as his best class safety. Here’s what Jeremiah was to say about Emanveri.

“Emmanwori is a huge prospect of safety with perfect instincts and ball skills,” Jeremiah writes. “It fits best as a strong safety, a large nickel or a submergency. He can constantly undermine routes and take the ball in these roles. He trusts his eyes and drives to the ball. He had numerous peaks in the games, He has studied a little tightness that is shown in the man’s coverage, but he has enough speed to recover, he is aggressive to fill in and he is a strong bodice on the front.

During his time in South Carolina, Emanurdi dialed 244 matches, four shells for loss and six intercepts. He was a constant playmaker at the College Level and will now seem to continue this at a professional level.
