Danny Sprinkle, at the height of her first year, presented by Washington Huskis, was building a team that had some early success and seemed capable of winning several games this season. And then UW came across a game on Big Ten and hit Buzzsaw.
Unfortunately, the Huski has lost six matches in a row and on the defense side of things, things are quite dark right now, but things are likely to turn this weekend when UW stands up against Minnesota Golden Goffs.
Fortunately, because of the UW, the Golden Goffs are also not so great from the team. Washington is 10-10 for the season and 1-8 against Big Ten enemies, while Minnesota is 11-10 and 3-7 compared to opponents of the conference. At least in theory, there seems to be a chance to click this six games of a losing series and UW to get a road victory here.
But the Huski will definitely have to play more basketball on the protective side of things.
Will Washington Haskis be able to have a defensive success, as in the early year when it faces Minnesota Golden Goffs?
At the beginning of this season, Washington limited opponents to only 67.1 points per game. This is not the best so far, but it is a decent amount that allows the Huski to win as long as the crime is not out of the night.
Unfortunately, in Big Ten Play, Washington gives up 77.7 points per game. This is over 10 points of difference in the game here. UW is really struggling to adapt to the physical level of competition, which has the big ten.
But this game can give Washington a little redemption, as the gold waffles are on average only 68.9 points per game. If this is great, if (thus all the hats there), the crime of Minnesota can come out slowly, then maybe the Husky can find some success in this game. We’ll see.
