Wilmington – At the age of 12, the Wilmington Theater Awards will be held in March and have announced over 100 nominated this year.
The awards are awarded by the Wilmington and New Hanover County Council and will be held in the Talian Hall on March 26, 19:00 this year are Chad and Terry HSU, with the performances of nominees. Participants can walk on the red carpet at 18:00
Wearing the most nominees this year in the music category is the “beautiful” of Opera House Co. With 10 nominations, while the most nominated game was Big Dawg Productions’s Death of A Sealnman. “The Thalian Association Public Theater has led 27 total nominations from all 14 theater companies that provide recognition.
Also part of the celebrations in 2025 is the annual Lella Thompson Award for a lasting contribution to the Wilmington Theater Award. He will be presented at Steve Vernon, the artistic director of Big Dawg Productions. Vernon also received an exceptional actor in a play for his role in “The Real Inspector”.
Many nominees in the theatrical community received numerous nominations this year, such as Heather Setlzer, who received both a supporting actress in a play and a musical, Christopher Dean for sound design, Debbie Show for costume design and Logan Hayes for a director of music and choreography.
Tickets can be purchased through Talian Hall. All candidates are below and the vote is open here until February 13.
