I -10 Lane will end the weekend for Project College Drive Flyover – WAFB

Baton Rouge, La. (WAFB) – The Ministry of Transport and Development of Louisiana has announced the closure of an interstate lane this weekend in Baton Rouge, as crews continue to work on the College Drive flying project.

According to Dotd, the left lane of I-10 West will be closed from 9:00 pm on Friday, January 31, to 5am on Sunday, February 2, so crews can work on the joints of this section of the interstate as part as part of the College Fighting Project.

Officials say that drivers need to prepare for a new alignment of traffic, as the project is approaching the completion. They will post more updates in the coming weeks.

According to DOTD, I-12 Westbound will be adjusted under the overpass I-10 when dividing I-10/I-12 under the final configuration. Once completed, drivers associated with college drive will be provided with a two -lane special ramp safely separated from the interstate traffic.
