Special dance gives the night to shine – Wibw

Topeka, Kan. (Wibw) – Wearing and hitting the dance floor with friends is always the right time.

However, many young people with special needs miss these experiences.

This is not so at night to shine.

Kelly Robinson and her daughter, Riley, visited NO Kansas’s eye to talk about the event in Topeka.

Night to Shine was created by Tim Tebo Foundation. This is an event like teenagers and young adults aged 14 years and older.

Watch the video to hear Kelly and Riley say why the event is so significant to them.

The spots of the attendees are filled for this year, but Topeka’s event still needs volunteers. People who are interested should fill in an application at gcCtopeka.org/night- to Shine. Volunteers must undergo a background check and have to attend a workout.

The night for glitter is 6 to 9 pm Friday, February 7th at the West Ridge mall. Topeka’s night’s night is sponsored by the Church of the Grace Community.
