Bid Notice Request is given by the present – Wyoming Tribun

REQUEST FOR BIDS

Notice is hereby given that Goshen
County Construction, Construction
Manager at Risk (CMAR) will now
receive sealed bids from Pre Approved Subcontractors and Suppliers for labor and materials for the
HOMESTEADER MUSEUM, according to specifications and drawings
to be provided.
The Project consists of, but not limited to, a new 2400 sq ft PEMB. The
proposed site is located at 465 Main
Street, in Torrington, WY. Facility
will be used for a visitor center,
artifact display and storage area,
as well as parking, sidewalks, and
landscaping. The work shall commence no earlier than March 2025,
and the project must be complete
by December 2025.
Electronic drawings, specifications,
and bid packages (available February 3rd) and may be obtained
without fee or deposit by contacting Goshen County Construction at
(307) 575-3929 ([email protected])
. Bids will be received until 2:00
p.m. local area time, Wednesday ,
February 19th, 2025. Bids can be
mailed to Goshen County Construction at P.O. Box 912 Torrington,
WY 82240, or delivered in person
to the City of Torrington City Hall
at 436 East 22nd Ave. Torrington,
WY 82240. Bids will be opened and
recorded at 2:05 PM that same day
in the City of Torrington Conference
Room.
A pre-bid and site inspection meeting concerning this project will be
held on Wednesday , February
12th, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local
area time in the City of Torrington
Conference Room.
Per Wyoming Statutes 16-6-102
and 16-6-106, preference is hereby given to certified resident contractors and “materials, supplies,
agricultural products, equipment,
machinery and provisions produced, manufactured, supplied or
grown in Wyoming, or supplied by
a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by the
competitors outside of the state.”
Goshen County Construction reserves the right to reject any or
all bids, waive irregularities or informalities in the bidding process,
and are not bound by the lowest
bid, but the bid determined to be in
the best interest of Goshen County
Construction and the City of Torrington. Submission of a bid constitutes agreement to these terms. A
contract will be awarded after the
bids have been reviewed by Goshen County Construction and City of
Torrington.
