Sofia Region, New York (WRGB) – Vermont State Police claims a man in New Hampshire is facing accusations in both New York and Vermont after an incident earlier this month.
On January 21, approximately 2020 o’clock, Vermont State Police tried to make a Red Nissan Rogue motor vehicle stop after reporting that the vehicle followed a marked VSP cruiser at a dangerous distance while traveling south to the US RT 7 in the area of Bennington/Shaftsbury City Lines. When the soldier is preparing to start a Nissan vehicle stop, withdrawing from the side of the road, the vehicle continued from the VSP cruiser without slowing down and giving very little space between the vehicles as it passed.
When the soldier tried to start a Nissan vehicle’s stop, the vehicle accelerated and escaped from the soldier. The military did not start persecution and deactivated all the emergency lights and sirens when it became clear that the vehicle did not stop. Even after this de -escalation, the vehicle continued south of the United States RT 7 with extremely high speeds, over 100 miles per hour. The vehicle was monitored by a soldier west of the VT RT 279 in New York State. A be on Lookout (BOL) was forwarded to the New York State Police and the Sheriff Department of Renselaer County for the vehicle because of the negligent way it is driven.
State authorities in New York deployed the vehicle and initiated a pursuit after the operator claims to have almost managed a replacement of the Renselar County County off the road. The operator was detained after a motor vehicle crash in Petersburg. The operator, now identified as the 41 -year -old Christopher Ferraro of New Hampshire, is said to have fought and is fighting arrest by the authorities of New York after the crash. Ferraro was taken in guard and later processed for suspicion of DUI, in addition to several other accusations of the New York organs.
Ferraro has been issued several tickets for violations of motor vehicles committed in Vermont and also issued a criminal quote to respond to the accusations of criminal DLS, trying to avoid negligent operation and excessive speed.
He is expected to appear in the Supreme Court of Bennington, a criminal ward on February 24th.
