New Orleans striker Pelicans Zion Williamson has had a train career in his six years in the NBA. He entered the League as one of the most refined players in the recent Memorial memory of the NBA and was considered mainly the future of the NBA. Unfortunately for Williamson, his production has never coincided with his super, with injuries that derailed much of his career.
Since it was prepared by Pelicans in 2019, two-time All-Star has missed more than 50% of the New Orleans games since that time. Williamson is facing great criticism for his inaccessibility in court. After the match on Wednesday against Dallas Maverix, the guardian of the MAV star Kiri Irving gave a heartfelt response when he asked him about Williamson.
“He has experienced a lot in his personal life and only with injuries. He entered the League with so much over -and -I think he lived with the majority of him,” Irving said.
He continued. “I just pray that he is healthy and staying focused on the craft … beyond personal things and injuries, I feel like he was a real professional and he fights a lot … When he is out healthy he is the devil of a player , against which to go.
The Pelicans star was dominant on Wednesday night, scoring 29 points in 27 minutes. Williamson is still in minutes as he returned from a January 7 injury. He told reporters after the practice on Thursday that he feels healthy enough to play more, but listens to doctors to relieve his path back in shape.
Williamson appeared in 13 games this season, an average of 23.6 points, 8.2 rebounds and five assists this year. The Pelicans are 12-36, marking the second worst record in the Western Conference.
