Police of Glendale Suspecting Burglary Linked in the LA – KMVU FOX 26 Medford

Glendale, California – Glendale’s police have arrested a suspect who is believed to have been involved in numerous residential thefts in the area. Matthias Jesus Soto-Baraza, 22-year-old from Los Angeles, was removed on January 16, 2025 during a search of his residence.

In coordinated efforts with the Beverly Hills Police Department, the detectives executed search orders and arrested three additional suspects. These individuals, Joaquin Vergara-Conteras, 29; Elias Monkada Reyes, 30; And Juan Antonio Silva Loeza, 43 -year -old, are all Chilean citizens and are thought to be part of the same burglary crew, according to a statement by the Glendale Police Department.

Detectives seized evidence, including mobile phones, signaling and stolen properties such as firearms, jewelry and luxury items. The crime ring is associated with thefts in Glendale, Beverly Hills, San Marino and Los Angeles. The investigation continues and detectives cooperate with the Los Angeles District Prosecutor’s Office to ensure the successful persecution of the suspects.
